Mobile applications privacy statement
GTP owns mobile applications for which the following Mobile Application privacy statement is valid. User’s privacy is important to us and this is the reason why we do not require from any user of device specific information when the user communicates with our online servers. All transmissions from and to our online servers are either completely anonymous or use a uniquely random ID specific for each user. This random ID will be created once by the app when first run and does not contain any personal information about our users. In some cases our app communicates directly with our online servers to obtain latest data for display within the app (such as latest news). When this happens we do not transmit any data about our users or our users’ usage to our servers.
The functionality to display advertisements is built in our app. In the case that our app will display advertisements basic regional/language information about our user will be transmitted to the advertising banner system in order to provide our user with relevant ads. In some cases our app may also ask user’s permission to also provide geo-coordinates to help provide better ad content. In these cases we will ask user’s permission to do so. At this time our app is actually ad free – however we may introduce this at a later point (and if our app want to utilize this information will provide appropriate notice and opt outs).
